This particular part of the calendar, lasting 5126 years, began in 3113 bce, which is at the start of our present civilization type cities/states. Writing also began around that time, as well as major constructions of many major edifices, such as pyramids and calendar stonehenges. A very large asteroid had hit in 3123 bce, which struck the Alps, probably causing much worldwide damage. 10 years after the asteroid, the Maya calendar for the new sun came into being. Interesting how so much is coming to a head near the end date of the calendar in 2012. Wow. This particular part of the calendar, lasting 5126 years, began in 3113 bce, which is at the start of our present civilization type cities/states. Bill gates and lots of other rich people like rockerfella etc donating a lot of their wealth to charity. Keep hearing 2 years for the economy to resolve. Thats 2012 folks. Prophecies may be fortold and true but there is no way to know for sure what will really happen. God the father of heaven and earth is the only one who can truely forsee all. What's going to or not going to happen in 2012 is totally unpreventable if this is what God wants. All I can say is to enjoy what you have today and the people you love and have in your lives. Live life to the fullest and repent whole heartedly and pray that YOU are saved. The world as we know it WILL one day come to an end but not when we say so, but when He says so.
