Okay now. How many times have you seen High School Musical 2?
Not High School Musical; High School Musical 2. It premiered yesterday on Disney Channel.
On it’s third viewing in our household now. There can be no escape.
Sharpay and Ryan and sooo cool and FUNNY. They are the Team Rocket of High School Musical.
Troy and Gabriela, however, are just so saccharine sweet.
By tomorrow I’ll be expected to harmonise on the best numbers so that my daughter can feel suitably fabulous when she sings along.
If you don’t watch HSM then clearly, you have a deficit in the tween/teen girls in your household. Them as don’t, like me, don’t get much choice in this. High School Musical rules!

Oh it does indeed. Shame Sharpay and Ryan didn’t perform HUMUHUMUNUKUNUKUAPUA’APUA’A (Yes it’s off the album)
But apparently it’s on the DVD.
I was hypnotized into HSM don’t know how neither do i care. I think it mught have been Vanessa Hudgens (Gabriella)
I hated the Bet On It song, well, when Troys going over the golf course, (drugs was just screaming inside my head)
Honestly he had a mood change. Spinning round walking from the left right towards the camera. What will they think of next!?
HSM3 is their graduation, wonder if there will be a song called “frustration” or “AAHHH!!! Help the test is tomorrow and i haven’t revised!”

I gave up halfway – too much work (getting ready for a pitch meeting with publishers on Monday, something potentially very exciting for online promotion of Joshua…) Sharpay was better than ever. I stopped watching when she and Troy were reheasing their song-and-dance. My 15-year old daughter and her friend watched – the friend was quite unmoved. But my daughter shed a tear at one of the songs when she first watched it…

I felt sorry for Sharpay. But yeah the fist hour or so i was flicking between HSM2 and the suite life of zack and cody. I can’t get enough of those michevious twins. Oh and Ashley Tisdale
Do you know when the Joshua Files site will be up? It sounds interesting.

I don’t know when the Joshua Files site will be up. The publishers want to do something with that. Our idea is something quite different. Muahahaha.

Yup, there’s a deficit of tween/teen girls in my household, and hopefully it’ll be there for a long long time.

Oh that’s just a little something I knocked up AGES ago, for the publishers to look at when the book was on submission. We’ve removed most of the old content and are just using that to hold the search engine’s interest.
The publishers liked our groovy idea that my agent and I pitched today. It’s going to be another children’s book publishing first…

My teen cousins made me watch HSM 1. Cute, but the 100% politically correct plot kinda annoyed me. Well, it’s Disney, couldn’t expect anything different. I’m sure when I drop by their house they’ll make me watch HSM 2. It won’t be a sacrifice, it’s way better than the teen horror movies they also like to invite me to watch.
I watched Hairspray (I LOVE musicals with all my heart) and Zac Efron is not only cute but also good singer/dancer in this movie.
